WESPAC 2017 Announcement


After the success of the WESPA Championships held in Perth in 2015, the process has commenced for the next WESPAC, to be held in 2017.

Expressions of interest have been sought with the following nations providing an expression of interest: Sri Lanka, Kenya, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada and Britain.

Formal bids are now expected by the end of March with an announcement of the successful bidder by the end of May 2016.

WESPAC 2017 promises to be larger than Perth, with the continued focus on ensuring all interests of players are met. Over 300 players are expected to take part in the main and side tournaments on offer for those in attendance!

In preparation for this event, new national quotas have been established, following the results in Perth with the new allocations set out as per below. The quotas were calculated using these results:
