Ratings

WESPA's Ratings Committee monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of different ratings systems, to achieve the fairest possible rating of all international players.

The rankings officer updates the rankings list. See the latest top 100 **here**. There is also a current top 10 available on the home page, for quick reference.

The committee is investigating ways to:

   • rate longer tournaments more accurately
   • deal with non-rated players entering their first WESPA-rated international
   • incorporate a wider range of tournaments into ratings data.

NEWSFLASH • Burrow with Aardvark

Aardvark is a new WESPA ratings-archive tool, developed by Edward Okulicz. Just like that nocturnal, termite-loving South African mammal, you can 'burrow' into the archives for an individual player's ratings movements and tournament stats, as well as full results and ratings movements for any rated international tournament.
