The World English-Language Scrabble Players' Association (WESPA) is a body that represents the interests of English-Language Scrabble® players and affiliated National bodies worldwide. It was formed in October 2003 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and formally constituted on November 17 2005 in London at its first Biennial General Meeting.

WESPA's aims are:

  • Unify all competitive (English-language) Scrabble players
  • Develop a schedule of international tournaments
  • Facilitate the holding of these
  • Popularise tournament Scrabble through media coverage of these events.
